red looks to where he heard a sound, but saw nothing......

"You really are stupid." The Hollow said laughing more. It hit Red knocking him into a tree.

Red's sight refocuses and everything is clearer, though still in the bland color scheme. he sees a figure standing before him

The Hollow smacks him again

"what are you?"

"Oh so you can see me now" THe Hollow laughs as he smacks the 4th Division Captain to the ground

Shinji speaks "Lady Unohano!"

The Hollow steps on Shinji's back. "Like I should tell you you'll be dead soon anyway."

Red pulls out his saber and unleashes the blade of light, it glowing brightly in his view

"That's all show." The Hollow laughs

Red turns on the plasma red plasma blade too

It laughs even harder.

Red brings up the visor to his armor and dashes past the thing, holding his saber out

The Hollow laughs and goes wide eyed as it is split in half "I... lost... and not even to a Soul Reaper." The Hollow disappears.

Red repeats those last word in his head
"soul reaper?"

Shinji tried to get up and fell down.

"what was that?"

"A Hollow."

"and what is its deal?"

"They are fallen souls that have lost their hearts. They eat souls to fill the hole that forms. But that wasn't an ordinary Hollow."

"what makes it special?"

"About that one or the whole collective."

George nodded at Star when she said that. " i know! Nitron here *points* is my son."

[not gonna ask how he got here, i think you posted his arrival on central academy]

"Okay. Who is the father?" Star said, oblivious to the whole Hollow thing.
